Operating Information
The IRLP and Echolink nodes connected to the C.A.R.L.A. System are open to all licensed amateurs.

Connecting to C.A.R.L.A.:

You can access the C.A.R.L.A. repeater system via Echolink or IRLP by using the node numbers listed above. When you connect this way you'll be connected to the entire C.A.R.L.A. system. Tip: Be sure to wait one full second after keyup, before speaking!

Note: If you're new to the C.A.R.L.A. system you may want to first browse the rest of this site and see what you're about to connect to. We are an open repeater system covering most of Northern & Central California and Western Nevada so feel free to connect but check us out first.

Connecting from C.A.R.L.A.:

Currently, we do not have a generally available way for users of the system to establish IRLP or Echolink connections. If you wish to use the C.A.R.L.A. system to connect to other nodes via IRLP or Echolink please ask a control operator and we'll be happy to connect for you. IRLP or Echolink can be accessed from any linked repeater in the C.A.R.L.A. System.

IRLP & Echolink Operating Guidelines:

If you're fairly new to Echolink or IRLP, please take a few minutes and read the operating guidelines on the IRLP website. There is some good information here on EchoIRLP usage.
