Looking Forward
The past few years have seen a tremendous amount of progress in a very short amount of time. In 2011, we have even more plans including numerous upgrades, enhancements, new systems and increased routine maintenance visits. We are in the process of replacing all of our legacy repeater controllers and hope to have that project done sometime this year or 2012. We are planning to integrate several VHF repeaters into the network to help increase coverage and fill in where we had to make drastic reductions to some of our UHF systems due to the PAVE PAWS radar system at Beale AFB. We are planning to extend our service area to the Southern Coast, Eastern Sierras and Northern Coastal regions.
